DEMO at DICK BLICK OPENING
1115 NW Glisan St.
January 27 from 4 to 7pm
I will be giving a DEMO at the new Dick Blick store, opening in Portland's Pearl District. I am hoping to be able to hand out samples of Birch Cradled Panels made by American Easel in Salem at the start of my presentation, so stay tuned. Also, you can see how I use them to attach watercolor paper, either blank or a finished painting. Then I will show how to varnish a watercolor, using archival methods, with Golden acrylic mediums or Dorland's Wax. You might be interested in my favorite brushes, made of Risslon and Squirrel hair by Connoisseur, that I use when I paint botanicals, or anything else, for that matter.
